About The Position

Mister Car Wash is a rapidly growing car wash brand that is leading the industry. As a Maintenance Technician I, you will be part of a team responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of car wash sites. This hands-on role involves maintaining and repairing industrial car wash equipment, diagnosing electrical and mechanical issues, and traveling to various locations to perform installations, preventative maintenance, and urgent repairs. The position offers opportunities for skill development, career growth, and exposure to new technologies within a supportive team environment.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in industrial or production maintenance (breakdown experience preferred).
  • Electrical experience, including exposure to: 3-phase high-voltage systems, Low-voltage systems, AC/DC electrical systems, Control wiring and powered equipment.
  • Solid skills in at least four of the following areas: Electrical, Mechanical, Hydraulics, Welding, Pneumatics, Plumbing.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and respond quickly in fast-paced environments.
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and on-call hours.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Physical capability to perform the job (lift up to 75 lbs., bend, crawl, and climb ladders).
  • A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required upon hire).

Responsibilities

  • Apply electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, plumbing, pneumatic, and troubleshooting skills to maintain equipment.
  • Perform installation, preventative maintenance, and repairs on industrial car wash equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair low- and high-voltage electrical systems, including control wiring and 3-phase power.
  • Travel across the market in a company-provided vehicle to complete scheduled maintenance and respond to urgent repairs.
  • Minimize downtime by responding quickly to breakdowns and equipment failures.
  • Partner with regional teams on new equipment installations and technology rollouts.
  • Build strong relationships with teammates.
  • Maintain safe, efficient, and fully operational locations.
  • Take advantage of travel opportunities to learn about new equipment, emerging technology, and best practices.
