Under limited supervision, set up, adjust, perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain assigned equipment with responsibility for production and quality. This role involves performing preventive maintenance and routine inspections on assigned conveyors, automation, robotics and ancillary equipment. It also includes troubleshooting out-of-service equipment, acting as an escalation point for lower-level technicians, and escalating issues as needed. The position requires documenting all work in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) and ticketing systems, maintaining accurate records of operating logs for facility systems, and performing root cause analysis of major downtime events. Additionally, the role assists maintenance mechanics, performs facility/building project work, and assembles and tests equipment to verify correct operation and production. The technician will analyze and record causes of production delays, examine defects, analyze spoilage causes, and take corrective action.
