This position focuses on basic residential maintenance support, assistance with unit turns, and maintaining curb appeal.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Entry level (0–2 years) of basic maintenance experience in residential, multifamily, commercial, hotel maintenance, or related fields
  • Must have applicable maintenance tools
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Responsibilities

  • Maintain exceptional curb appeal
  • Complete and assist with daily resident work orders
  • Be available for on-call after hours
  • Conduct unit turns in a timely manner, including painting, carpet cleaning, and general unit cleaning as needed
  • Assist neighboring properties with maintenance tasks as needed
  • Pick up supplies from area vendors while legally operating a registered and properly insured vehicle
  • Report to Property Manager, Regional Manager, and Maintenance Superintendent for delegated tasks
  • Travel and participate in regional and corporate training and/or conferences as required
  • Maintain positive and professional relationships with residents, vendors, and staff
  • Report any health and safety concerns on site to management
  • Work overtime as needed and approved
  • Participate in training programs, including HVAC, safety, HUD and LIHTC maintenance standards, and State inspection/INSPIRE
