Maintenance Tech I
About The Position
The Maintenance Tech I performs preventive maintenance tasks, completes and maintains preventive maintenance reports, and assists maintenance technicians to learn techniques, methods, and procedures. Other duties may be assigned. The work environment can involve exposure to wet/humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, high/precarious places, fumes/airborne particles, toxic/caustic chemicals, outdoor weather conditions, extreme cold/heat, risk of electrical shock, and vibration. The noise level is usually loud, and the employee must be able to work in a smoking environment.
