Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Degree in Industrial Maintenance Technology or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with Industrial Machinery preferred.
  • Two (2) plus years of experience in Industrial Maintenance or Technical degree.
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Self-starter and highly motivated to strive for 100% uptime via strong preventative maintenance activities.
  • Willingness to improve, flex, and learn and work as part of a team is critical
  • Work overtime, off-shifts and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Perform basic electrical, mechanical, and construction repairs and installation involving schematics and/or blueprint interpretation.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and repairing complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Support root cause determination of failures and drive preventive actions.
  • Address maintenance requests and work orders in a timely manner.
  • Communicate effectively with internal customers and external vendors regarding status of equipment and/or part needs.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks such as inspecting, cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting equipment.
  • Conduct basic inspections to identify potential issues or safety hazards.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized state.
  • Follow preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Document completed work orders and report issues.
  • Ability to make day-to-day work-related decisions.
  • Safely operate various material handling equipment such as hoists, carts, scissor/boom lifts, and forklifts.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and use of various Lockout/Tagout devices as required per facility LOTO Policy.
