As Maintenance Tech I, you will be responsible for repairs, adjustments, and ongoing maintenance of facilities, machinery, and equipment on company premises. Duties typically include performing refurbishment of buildings and facilities, preventative and reparative maintenance of buildings, facilities, machinery, and equipment, work related to electric maintenance, mechanics, hydraulics, carpentry and masonry, substituting, changing, cleaning, and/or repairing and installing pieces, components, and equipment. Reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager, this position is based in Shreveport, LA. This position is open to candidates who are authorized to work and reside in the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin or Wyoming. Due to payroll, tax, and employment law requirements, applicants must be located in one of these states at the time of hire.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Entry level technician requires little or no prior knowledge or experience but has demonstrated an aptitude for mechanical equipment or basic maintenance skills.
  • Work is routine or follows standard procedures under direct supervision.
  • Communication skills
  • Aptitude for repairing and maintaining facilities and equipment, which includes but is not limited to the following machines: Salvagnini, Modula, Trumpf, OTC, Cincinnati, and Haeger.

Responsibilities

  • Perform refurbishment of buildings and facilities.
  • Preventive and reparative maintenance of buildings, facilities, machinery, and equipment.
  • Work related to electrical maintenance, mechanics, hydraulics, carpentry, and masonry, substituting, changing, cleaning, and/or repairing and installing pieces, components, and equipment.
