Performs preventative and corrective maintenance services on manufacturing machines and support equipment as directed by the Maintenance Senior Tech Supervisor to meet production and quality goals. This role involves manual cleaning, dismantling, replacing, and repairing defective machines or electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic components. The technician will inspect and service lubrication systems, perform preventative maintenance, and measure parts to detect wear or problems. They will also listen to machines to locate malfunctions, enter data into computers, and read blueprints and schematics to troubleshoot. The position may involve serving as a liaison with vendors and requires maintaining reliable attendance, following safety procedures, wearing PPE, and performing effectively as a team member. The technician must understand and demonstrate Cambro company culture and core values (Safety, Quality, Respect, and Service), understand department KPIs, and contribute to achieving goals. Additional responsibilities include working with higher-level technicians on new equipment installation, using documentation to verify maintenance procedures, and increasing knowledge of equipment operations and troubleshooting. Overtime may be required, and flexibility with schedule changes is necessary to meet business needs.
