About The Position

As a representative for our company, you will be performing non-technical general building maintenance and minor repairs. This is a field service role. Must have valid CA drivers license and good driving record. Company vehicle provided. Requirements

  • Must have valid CA drivers license and good driving record.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of experience in commercial facilities and building maintenance.
  • Have own hand tools and battery drill.
  • Able to communicate with the team.
  • Sense of urgency.
  • Customer service.
  • Knowledge of commercial facilities maintenance.
  • Knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials and supplies used in maintenance work.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

  • May be only maintenance staff member on duty during certain shifts; may be required to work extended periods of time without relief when responding to priority/emergency situations (including overtime type assignments); may require shift work and/or on call duties.

Responsibilities

  • Performs general building maintenance under close supervision.
  • Performs grounds, maintenance, and minor repair work.
  • Performs general labor work as assigned by the engineer, including loading, uploading, and moving materials and running errands for the project.
  • Replaces light bulbs/lamps and clean fixtures.
  • Responds quickly to emergency situations and customer concerns.
  • Complies with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency, and company directives as related to building operations and practice safe work habits.
  • Must maintain a neat appearance.
  • Continuously seeks opportunities to improve the customer experience.
  • Follows safety and sanitation procedures with all guidelines from OSHA, Department of Public Health and Risk Management.
  • Other duties as assigned.
