About The Position

The Maintenance Tech I AR performs routine troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on equipment. This role provides labor to assist with routine maintenance and minor repairs, and responds to basic technical issues. The technician will assist the Equipment Planner and Continuous Improvement Technician, and complete assigned rebuild work orders. Utilizing maintenance EAM software is crucial for tracking work progress and materials to ensure timely completion of work orders. The role involves identifying and communicating parts needed to the supervisor or Parts Room Coordinator, performing scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) activities, and participating in process development and continuous improvement projects. Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Excellent safety and attendance records
  • Minimum of 1 year of mechanical background or 1 year as an Advanced Operator
  • Basic experience maintaining/troubleshooting machine control systems
  • Knowledge of OSHA Industrial Safety standards and practices
  • Good communication/documentation skills, ability to read and write English
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematic diagrams
  • Ability to work at heights up to 30 ft.
  • Basic computer skills
  • Forklift certification

Nice To Haves

  • Welding/fabricating/layout skills
  • Machine Tool experience

Responsibilities
