About The Position
As a High School or College Intern in Hospital Maintenance, you will play a vital role in supporting various aspects of the hospital's maintenance operations. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in teamwork, minor plumbing, and facility maintenance while contributing to the hospital's mission of serving the community.
Requirements
- Must be currently enrolled in High School or College
- Communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Reliable, with a strong work ethic
- Willingness to learn
- Basic computer skills
Nice To Haves
- Valid Nevada Driver License
Responsibilities
- Assisting with routine maintenance tasks
- Learning about preventive maintenance practices
- Helping maintain a clean and safe hospital environment
- Observing skilled maintenance technicians and learning their process
- Assisting with facility maintenance, including minor plumbing, fire extinguisher checks, painting, landscaping
- Other related duties as assigned.
