This position involves using predictive and preventive maintenance software, applications, and data collection instruments to identify potential machine problems. The role includes collecting lubrication samples, performing visual inspections of machinery, calculating forcing frequencies for vibration analysis, and managing local predictive maintenance software databases. The technician will perform routine on-route data collection, transfer data between instruments and computers, plan predictive maintenance routes, and prepare routine reports. Responsibilities also include maintaining and verifying physical test points and their identification on predictive maintenance routes. The individual must uphold company ethics, promote teamwork, use synergy between work groups, ensure compliance with jobsite procedures, and perform Stop Work Authority when necessary. They will assist team members, foster client relationships, and contribute to operational objectives by providing recommendations for strategic plans, implementing standards, and resolving problems. The role requires following established safety and regulations, maintaining a clean work area, identifying and correcting safety hazards, reading and understanding equipment schematic drawings, plans, and specifications, producing quality work that meets industry standards, monitoring work progression, and performing other duties as requested by a supervisor.
