About The Position

Responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment and facility assets within a logistics center while supporting safe operations and maintaining equipment quality.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 1–3 years of industrial or commercial maintenance experience
  • Ability to replace and diagnose AC/DC electric motors, mechanical drives, and gearboxes under the guidance of an experienced technician
  • Basic mechanical repair experience and troubleshooting abilities to include bearings, chains, and belts

Nice To Haves

  • Able to gain a working knowledge of hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, fire suppression systems, conveyor systems
  • Ability to learn conveyor systems using conveyor control software
  • Able to safely learn various electrical systems ranging from 24VDC to 480V 3phase
  • Capable of learning robotics and automation equipment
  • Ability to learn and operate computerized maintenance management software (CMMS)

Responsibilities

  • Perform assisted and occasionally unassisted preventative maintenance and repairs on all equipment and building assets within the logistics center
  • Learn and support maintenance of conveyor systems using conveyor control software
  • Safely learn and work with electrical systems ranging from 24VDC to 480V 3-phase
  • Ability to assist with the removal and installation of equipment
  • Assist in maintaining all spare parts inventory
  • Learn and operate computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
  • Maintain assigned tools and ensure they remain in good working condition
  • Maintain a clean and quality appearance of all equipment and facility assets
  • Follow all Lock Out-Tag Out (LOTO) procedures, including execution and recordkeeping
  • Meets all attendance policy and lead by example for all safety standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Management
