Join Oshkosh Aerotech as a Maintenance Team Leader, responsible for overseeing daily operations, team scheduling, safety management, productivity, and material coordination. You'll provide hands-on guidance and training to enhance team performance and customer satisfaction while promoting a strong safety culture. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented leader with excellent organizational skills who can effectively support operational management and continually improve processes.

Requirements

  • Valid Driver’s License Required.
  • Ability to obtain required security clearance.
  • Availability for on-call work, including occasional evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to work rotational shifts.

Nice To Haves

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3 years of hands-on maintenance experience in various fields, including HVAC, plumbing, and general maintenance technician work.
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years’ experience in Airport Maintenance services.
  • Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and work alongside the team in daily maintenance operations, including scheduling, work orders, safety, and materials.
  • Provide direct hands on support, guidance, and on-the-job training to team members.
  • Foster strong working relationships to enhance team and customer satisfaction.
  • Promote a culture of safety by leading new employee safety training and conducting quality control inspections on maintenance activities.
  • Support Operational Managers in monitoring and improving operational performance.
  • Develop and maintain processes and documentation to enhance operational efficiency.
