Requirements

  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control system issues.
  • Ensure all maintenance work complies with OSHA, environmental, and company safety standards, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
  • Manage maintenance work orders using the CMMS and ensure accurate documentation of completed work.
  • Train, coach, and develop maintenance technicians to improve technical skills and overall team performance.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and accountability.
  • Partner with Operations, Engineering, Production, and Safety to support business objectives.
  • Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions to eliminate recurring equipment failures.
  • Assist with annual maintenance budgeting and expense tracking.
  • Assist with developing and updating maintenance SOPs and training documentation.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean Manufacturing and 5S.
  • Support inventory cycle counts and parts organization.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with Maintenance manager the daily activities of the maintenance team to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable plant operations.
  • Plan, prioritize, and assign preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
  • Ensure maximum equipment uptime by responding quickly to breakdowns and minimizing production downtime.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control system issues.
  • Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules for all production and facility equipment.
  • Ensure all maintenance work complies with OSHA, environmental, and company safety standards, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
  • Manage maintenance work orders using the CMMS and ensure accurate documentation of completed work.
  • Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities to improve reliability, productivity, and operating efficiency.
  • Maintain adequate inventory levels of spare parts, tools, and maintenance supplies while controlling costs.
  • Coordinate and supervise contractors, vendors, and outside service providers when required.
  • Train, coach, and develop maintenance technicians to improve technical skills and overall team performance.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and accountability.
  • Partner with Operations, Engineering, Production, and Safety to support business objectives.
  • Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions to eliminate recurring equipment failures.
  • Support capital projects, equipment installations, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, customer requirements, and quality standards where applicable.
  • Assist with annual maintenance budgeting and expense tracking.
  • Support equipment upgrades and plant expansion projects.
  • Recommend process improvements that increase equipment reliability and reduce maintenance costs.
  • Participate in emergency response and after-hours support as needed.
  • Assist with developing and updating maintenance SOPs and training documentation.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean Manufacturing and 5S.
  • Support inventory cycle counts and parts organization.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
