About the Role: As the Maintenance Team Lead, you'll be responsible for the overall upkeep and safety of our campground. You'll supervise and mentor a team of maintenance professionals, ensuring all facilities, utilities, and equipment are operating efficiently and safely. You'll address maintenance needs, conduct regular inspections, and tackle unexpected challenges with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.

Requirements

Passion for Safety and Efficiency: A genuine desire to maintain a well-functioning and secure environment.
Leadership Skills: Proven experience in leading and motivating a team.
Maintenance Know-How: Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
Safety-Minded: Familiarity with safety procedures and regulations.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with others.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, lift and carry 25 pounds occasionally and 10 pounds regularly.
Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance frequently with long periods of standing.
Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, climb and move safely over wet or rocky terrain.
Ability to operate various loud and vibrating maintenance tools and equipment.
Able to work indoors and outdoors and in various weather conditions.

Nice To Haves

Experience with landscaping and groundskeeping
Knowledge of pool and spa maintenance
Valid First Aid/CPR certification

Responsibilities

Supervise and mentor our Maintenance & Safety Team Members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Perform repairs and maintenance on campground buildings, facilities, and equipment, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks.
Implement preventative maintenance programs to ensure the long-term functionality and safety of our facilities.
Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with all company, state, and federal regulations.
Greet guests with a friendly attitude and assist with any facility-related needs.
Proactively identify and address potential hazards and maintenance issues.
