Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
Hold a Technology Diploma, Trade Certification or a minimum of five years of experience as an Industrial Mechanic and/or Electrician
PLC and basic drives experience
Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge
Proficient communication skills – particularly, the ability to explain complex electrical issues.
Must be able to perform physically demanding work, such as climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, twisting, and bending for extended periods of time.

Nice To Haves

Metals, coating, roll forming or industrial maintenance experience
PLC experience, preferably Allen Bradley such as SLC 500, RSlogix 5/500/5000, PLC5, ControlLogix, Micrologix, and Panelview systems
Demonstrates strong computer proficiency, including the ability to learn and use new systems.
Demonstrates strong practical aptitude in diagnosing and resolving equipment issues; able to work independently while contributing effectively within a team.
Good, professional communication skills
Ability to learn processes, equipment specifications, and company standards through active use of resources, manuals, training, policies, and collaboration with colleagues.

Responsibilities

Explain complex electrical issues.
Perform physically demanding work, such as climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, twisting, and bending for extended periods of time.
Work up to 12-hour shifts.
Pass a background check and drug test as a condition of employment.
