About The Position
The 2nd Shift Maintenance Team Lead helps keep operations running safely and efficiently as the lead technician on second shift. This position provides technical guidance, coordinates maintenance priorities, and works with another technician to support production needs. John F. Requirements
- At least 2 years of industrial maintenance experience.
- Use mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic knowledge to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
- Take ownership, work safely, stay dependable, and lead by example.
Nice To Haves
- Food processing experience is preferred.
- Welding or PLC knowledge is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on machinery to support smooth production operations.
- Lead second shift maintenance work by coordinating tasks, managing priorities, and guiding the second shift maintenance technician.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues quickly and effectively.
- Communicate equipment status with operators, production leaders, and the maintenance team to support smooth shift transitions.
- Complete assigned tasks on schedule while maintaining a dependable, positive, and self-motivated approach.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow all safety expectations.
