The Arizona Humane Society is seeking a full-time Maintenance Supervisor to work primarily at its Papago Park Campus, with the flexibility to travel to its Sunnyslope and South Mountain Campuses as needed. This position requires a flexible schedule and willingness to work weekends. The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee and work alongside the maintenance team to keep AHS facilities and grounds safe, functional, and comfortable for animals, visitors, and employees. This role will monitor and coordinate maintenance, repairs, preventative maintenance, and small construction projects across campuses, while responding to facility emergencies and ensuring work orders are completed promptly and with excellent customer service. The position will lead, train, and support the maintenance team, including supervising technicians, reviewing time and labor, assisting with interviews, coaching performance, and providing input for staff evaluations. Additionally, the role will maintain an appropriate inventory of parts and supplies and help develop policies and procedures that improve facility standards and operations. This role will partner closely with the Director of Facilities and Fleet, departmental leaders, vendors, contractors, and suppliers to support building improvements and future facility growth. The position requires the ability to drive an AHS vehicle, is designated as safety sensitive, and includes flexible scheduling with rotational weekend and occasional after-hours emergency availability.
