About The Position

Carteret Management Corporation is seeking a MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR to oversee the maintenance operations of Blue Coral, a brand new 72-unit apartment community in Cape Coral, FL. This role is responsible for ensuring the highest level of resident satisfaction, maintaining safety and operational standards, and performing hands-on maintenance duties. The position also involves managing the day-to-day administrative operations of the maintenance functions, including vendor management and recordkeeping, and preparing vacant apartments for market readiness.

Requirements

Excellent customer service skills.
Prior maintenance experience.
Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical and carpentry.
Ability to multitask with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to safely use various hand tools and power tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, hand held drills and circular saws.
Ability to perform general janitorial duties.
Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with various groups (on-site staff, vendors, residents).

Responsibilities

Ensure the highest level of resident satisfaction at all times.
Ensure the safety, appearance, and operational standards established by Carteret Management.
Perform various hands-on maintenance duties necessary to maintain and enhance the value of the community, diagnosing problems and making repairs in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, dry walling, painting, exterior structure, appliance repair and cleaning.
Responsible for the day-to-day administrative operations of the maintenance functions, including vendor management, submission of reports, paperwork and recordkeeping.
Handle service requests for repairs and improvements of vacant apartments to a market-ready status.
