About The Position

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for performing all maintenance and cleaning tasks to ensure the facility is clean and well-maintained. This includes sweeping, trash removal, painting, equipment checks, and snow removal. The role also involves resolving customer complaints, reporting incidents, and assisting with special projects. Requirements

  • At least 18 years old.
  • High school degree or GED equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate effectively both verbally and through written correspondence.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, interacting with other employees in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Ability to maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when working with the parking customer, providing resolution as needed to customer issues.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands-to-fingers, handle tools or controls, reach with hands or arms, talk, and hear.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 25lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all maintenance and cleaning tasks as directed to ensure dirt, dust, litter, and debris are removed from all areas of the facility.
  • Sweep and clean entrances, exits, stairwells, rails, booths, offices, and restrooms.
  • Empty trashcans in the garage, booth, and office.
  • Ensure the safety and security of company equipment.
  • Paint various areas of the facility as directed to maintain a neat and clean appearance.
  • Replace light bulbs and address oil spills.
  • Conduct daily inspections of the garage to identify and correct maintenance problems.
  • Check the condition and functionality of ticket splitters, gates, ticket supply, time clock, and other equipment.
  • Handle the pick-up and delivery of winter supplies, sand, salt, fuel, power equipment, and vehicles.
  • Maintain an inventory of janitorial supplies and submit requests for restocking.
  • Operate automatic sweepers, scrubbers, outdoor equipment (e.g., weed eater), lawnmowers, or other electrical tools for repairs or construction.
  • Perform snow removal from entrance/exit ramps and designated areas.
  • Resolve customer complaints independently or with supervisor assistance.
  • Report accidents, policy violations, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences to management in a timely manner.
  • Complete small cleaning or maintenance tasks as assigned.
  • Undertake other special projects as assigned by management.
