About The Position

Haverkamp Properties is a 31-year-old family business with a purpose to “Create Communities Where You Love to LIVE” and to “maximize property values.” The company is working towards a 10-Year Target of seventeen thousand six hundred units under management. The Maintenance Supervisor role involves leading, managing, and holding a team accountable, overseeing all aspects of property condition (interiors, units, common areas, exterior, buildings, and grounds), ensuring work orders and turns are completed efficiently and economically, communicating effectively with customers, team members, and supervisors, and managing inventory and equipment. The team is trained for success, and the supervisor is accountable for critical goals including achieving and maintaining 95% or greater occupancy, completing 75% or more of all work orders within 48 hours, and preparing vacant units for occupancy in 7 days or less (non-mass turn) and 17 days or less (mass turn).

Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and hold your team accountable

  • Make sure that work orders and turns are being completed in a timely and economically wise manner
  • Communicate well with customers, team members, and supervisors
  • Effectively manage inventory and equipment
  • Help the team to achieve and maintain an occupancy of 95% or greater
  • Complete 75% or more of all work orders within 48 hours
  • Prepare vacant units for occupancy in 7 days or less (non-mass turn) and 17 days or less (mass turn)
