About The Position

The Maintenance Supervisor will lead on-site maintenance staff in diagnosing problems and performing repairs related to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, appliances, and other issues that may arise. This role involves supervising and training maintenance and make-ready employees, overseeing property appearance, curb appeal, work order completion, shop organization, inventory control, and make-ready management. The supervisor will also ensure timely completion of preventive maintenance and review safety procedures to ensure employee adherence.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of residential property maintenance experience
HVAC certification required
Excellent mechanical, electrical, plumbing & HVAC skills
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Computer and Microsoft Office proficiency and ability to learn new programs and processes
A valid Driver's License, reliable transportation, and valid insurance required
Must have general tools to perform all maintenance tasks

Responsibilities

Lead on-site maintenance staff in the diagnosis of problems and repairs related to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, appliances, and anything else that may come up
Supervise and train maintenance and make-ready employees
Review and oversee property appearance, curb appeal, work order completion, shop organization, inventory control, and make-ready management
Ensure preventive maintenance is completed in a timely manner
Review safety procedures to ensure that all employees are adhering to the process
On Call for all Emergencies
Maintains courteous and professional demeanor with residents, prospective residents, coworkers, and vendors
