About The Position

Maintenance Supervisor The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating maintenance activities within the facility. This role focuses on executing and improving maintenance systems while ensuring equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and safety across the plant. The Maintenance Supervisor leads a team of maintenance technicians and works closely with operations to support production goals, minimize downtime, and maintain quality standards.

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of technical experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a maintenance or manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience with SAP or other maintenance management systems.
  • Proficiency with computer software and maintenance management tools.
  • Strong time management and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate with employees and leaders at various levels of the organization.

  • Experience with preventive, predictive, and precision maintenance programs.
  • Experience managing or supporting capital improvement projects.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience leading larger maintenance teams in industrial or manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities across the facility to ensure equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
  • Schedule maintenance team activities to maximize production efficiency and minimize operational costs.
  • Utilize maintenance resources effectively to support performance objectives related to safety, downtime reduction, scrap reduction, and product quality.
  • Develop and lead preventive and predictive maintenance programs to improve equipment performance and reliability.
  • Respond to and manage maintenance emergencies to minimize operational disruption.
  • Lead and mentor maintenance technicians to support skill development and team performance.
  • Enforce plant safety standards and housekeeping practices.
  • Evaluate employee performance and provide coaching and feedback to ensure team success.
  • Ensure production equipment and outputs meet required customer and company quality specifications.
  • Collaborate with management and employees to resolve operational issues, concerns, or grievances.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to maintenance systems and plant performance.
