Maintenance Supervisor
About The Position
Pavement Maintenance Group is looking for a strong, hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to support our Madison, NC Seal Master operation. This is an opportunity for a true working leader - someone who knows how to keep a plant running, step in when equipment goes down, and lead a team through action, not just direction. In this position, you will lead day-to-day maintenance efforts while working alongside the team to support safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations. You will help plan and perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, support equipment repairs and installations, and partner closely with Operations to keep production moving. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable being in the field, turning wrenches when needed, and setting the tone for urgency, ownership, and follow-through. You will also play an important role in improving maintenance procedures, reducing downtime, investigating equipment failures, and helping drive long-term reliability across the plant. In addition to technical leadership, this role includes coaching and directing maintenance personnel, reinforcing safety expectations, supporting skill development, and helping create a team culture built on accountability, communication, and pride in workmanship. The ideal candidate brings solid experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance, along with prior lead or supervisory experience. A strong background in plant equipment, motors, drives, troubleshooting, and maintenance planning is highly valued. Candidates should also be comfortable reading blueprints and schematics, working safely around industrial equipment, and maintaining high standards for housekeeping and safety compliance. Experience with Lockout/Tagout, confined space procedures, and general maintenance safety oversight is important. Requirements
- Experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance
- Prior lead or supervisory experience
- Strong background in plant equipment, motors, drives, troubleshooting, and maintenance planning
