About the job: In this role, you will manage contractor maintenance activities in a cost-effective manner while continuously driving improvements in contractor safety, maintenance quality, and operational efficiency. In your future role as a Maintenance Contractor Supervisor, you will: Ensure contractors comply with all safety rules, utilize safe work practices, and actively participate in required safety programs. Provide field supervision to maximize contractor productivity and achieve optimal wrench time. Review contractor performance scorecards and complete quarterly performance assessments for all core maintenance contractors. Develop, implement, and oversee contractor audit processes, including wrench time studies. Analyze performance data to identify key barriers to wrench time and develop action plans to eliminate them. Ensure all work is completed in accordance with agreed-upon scope, schedule, and quality standards. Approve contractor timesheets and verify accurate invoicing for hours worked. Ensure all worked hours and associated costs are accurately recorded in the CMMS to support invoice verification. Manage and resolve deficiencies related to scope, quality, schedule, and worked hours or costs. Act as a delegate for the Maintenance Manager during periods of absence, as required. Perform additional duties and assignments as directed by the Maintenance Manager.

Requirements

  • An associate degree in a technical discipline (preferred), along with a minimum of five (5) years of maintenance and/or production experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to read, write, and clearly communicate information.
  • The ability to analyze and interpret procedures, regulations, and technical documentation.
  • Confidence presenting information verbally to team members, contractors, vendors, suppliers, and management.
  • Solid mathematical skills, with the ability to apply fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions in practical work situations.
  • Strong reasoning and troubleshooting abilities related to industrial equipment and maintenance processes.
  • The ability to interpret instructions provided in written, verbal, diagrammatic, or schedule-based formats.
