About The Position

The Collier Companies is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for their community offices in Tallahassee, FL. This on-site role involves supporting and managing the maintenance team to ensure the property meets The Collier Company’s established standards. The Supervisor is expected to be an expert in troubleshooting, diagnosing problems, and implementing solutions with a customer service attitude. Responsibilities include repairs in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, drywall, exterior structural, and appliances.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Maintenance/Service Manager or equivalent supervisory position.
Self-starter with a strong eye for detail.
Ability to recruit new vendors and establish long-term relationships with new and current vendors.
Extremely organized and detail-oriented.
Commitment to Emergency-On-Call (EOC) participation.
Proven track record of excellent customer service.
Ability to work independently and prioritize.
Background checks are an employment requirement.
Completion of candidate assessment is a required step in the hiring process.

Nice To Haves

Conventional experience a plus.
Experience with using Entrata Property Management Software is a plus.
EPA certified and strong HVAC skill set is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Participate in Emergency-On-Call (EOC).
Commit to overtime during the Summer/Fall turn season.
