Must maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a professional manner by getting along with customers, clients, co-workers, supervisors, managers, and all other employees. Responsible for adhering to and maintaining all quality system procedures and requirements related to the position. Must adhere to all safety rules and company policies, as well as enforce the compliance and implementation of each through subordinates. Attendance/punctuality: is consistently at work and on time; ensures that the Attendance Policy is enforced consistently through subordinates. Fabricating or modifying machines or equipment to manufacture new products or improve existing ones. Maintain preventative maintenance program for all machines and equipment, along with buildings and grounds. Inspects operating machines and equipment for conformance with operational standards. Requisitions tools, equipment, and supplies required for operations. · Assists with training and indoctrination of workers to improve work performance and acquaint workers with company policies and procedures. Confers with management, engineering and quality control personnel to resolve maintenance problems and recommend measures to improve operations and conditions of machines and equipment. Dismantle defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts. · Install and repair electrical apparatus such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment. · Layout, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment. Repairs and maintains physical structure of all facility equipment and grounds. Installs, programs, or repairs automated machinery and equipment such as robots or programmable controllers. Operates cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts. Fabricates and repairs counters, benches, partitions, and other wooden structures. Completes other special assignments as required. Review work orders to determine immediate actions required. Perform assigned preventative maintenance on a timely basis. Operate forklift, lift truck, and scissor lift.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or five to seven years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Internet software knowledge, Work Order software; Ability to learn new software as needed.
  • Ability to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
  • Ability to walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Ability to sit; climb or balance and taste or smell.
  • Ability to lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
  • Ability to perform close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
