About The Position

Carteret Management Corporation is seeking a MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR to oversee the maintenance operations of Preserve at Sabal Park, a beautiful apartment community located in Seffner, FL. This role is responsible for ensuring the highest level of resident satisfaction and maintaining the safety, appearance, and operational standards of the community. The position involves hands-on maintenance tasks, administrative operations of the maintenance department, and managing service requests to ensure apartments are market-ready. Requirements

Excellent customer service skills.
Prior maintenance experience.
Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
Ability to multitask with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to safely use various hand tools and power tools (e.g., hammers, screwdrivers, hand-held drills, circular saws).
Ability to perform general janitorial duties.
Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with various groups (on-site staff, vendors, residents).

Responsibilities

Ensure the highest level of resident satisfaction at all times.
Maintain the safety, appearance, and operational standards established by Carteret Management.
Perform various hands-on maintenance duties, including diagnosing and repairing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywalling, painting, exterior structures, appliance repair, and cleaning.
Manage the day-to-day administrative operations of the maintenance functions, including vendor management, report submission, paperwork, and recordkeeping.
Handle service requests for repairs and improvements of vacant apartments to ensure they are market-ready.
