Maintenance Supervisor

The location in Cross City, (Florida, United States), is seeking talent to fill the position of Maintenance Supervisor. This job is full-time permanent. We are looking for someone eager to join our team to manage all aspects of maintenance including day-to-day and long-term maintenance projects at our Sawmill in Cross City, FL.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED.
- 5 years experience in maintenance.
- Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in maintenance setting.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Strong mechanical and welding knowledge.
Nice To Haves
- Background in high production mills a plus.
Responsibilities
- Manage Maintenance shift of hourly personnel.
- Ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
- Review downtime to determine cause and prevention.
- Plan & coordinate long-term tasks (weekly, monthly, annually).
- Plan & coordinate service calls from vendors & contractors.
- Collect information from various sources to ensure parts & materials are on site.
- Schedule employees to maximize work efficiency.
- Actively train millwrights and new maintenance employees.
