About The Position

Supervises and coordinates activities of maintenance workers. Interprets company policies and collective bargaining agreement. Demonstrates commitment and enforcement of safe work practices. Maintains time and production reports. Coordinates with production and other departments. Schedules repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment to ensure continuous production operations. Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product. Suggests changes in work conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, and crew.

Requirements

Metal forming, manufacturing, and maintenance background
Strong leadership skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Deals effectively with multiple internal/external customers of varying levels
Demonstrated ability to effectively motivate, foster teamwork, and supervise direct reports
Knowledge and ability concerning specific machine capacity and capability issues
Capable to increase manufacturing efficiencies through effective scheduling
Demonstrated proficiency in communication, self-presentation and interpersonal skills
Tool Room and Plant Facilities experience
