About The Position

As a Maintenance Supervisor, you’ll lead a team dedicated to keeping our communities safe, beautiful, and fully operational. This role combines hands-on maintenance expertise with leadership responsibilities to ensure resident satisfaction and property preservation. The Maintenance Supervisor at Haven at Del Mar Station is eligible for a 100% apartment allowance if living on-site.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
HVAC-EPA (Type II) or EPA Universal certification is required.
Three or more years’ hands-on apartment or building maintenance experience required.
Supervisory experience required.
Experience with Yardi or other property management accounting software.
Strong knowledge of residential plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repair work.
Ability to read, write, understand and communicate in English.
A valid driver's license may be required.

Nice To Haves

Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification strongly preferred.
Associates hired without a CPO certification will be required to obtain within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

Oversee and perform maintenance repairs across the property.
Schedule and monitor preventative maintenance programs.
Respond to after-hours emergencies as needed.
Manage service requests using Yardi or similar software.
Maintain budgets and inventory for maintenance supplies.
Ensure compliance with safety and company policies.
Lead and develop a diverse maintenance team.
Provide feedback and coaching for performance improvement.
Deliver exceptional customer service to residents.
Work safely and cooperatively with others, including supervisors.
Adhere to performance standards despite stressful conditions.
Communicate effectively and respectfully to ensure exceptional customer service.
Follow all federal, state, and local laws and Company policies.
