About The Position

We are seeking to hire a Maintenance Supervisor that directs the activities of assigned personnel for the efficient and safe operation of the department; assists in determining need for and ordering supplies; performs related work as required and reports to the Director of Plant Operations.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• One year of maintenance supervisory experience required.
• Experience with maintenance and repairs including patch/painting, wallpapering, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.

• Healthcare Maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ability to professionally supervise a team of 6-10 people.
• Complete daily maintenance/custodial assignments with minimal supervision alongside the team.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs including painting, wallpapering, plumbing, plastering, electrical, carpentry and mechanical repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance on facility equipment as specified by manufacturer’s manuals and in compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Report maintenance needs, equipment malfunctions, defective equipment, and unsafe or hazardous conditions.
• Maintain all required and routine records of inspections, preventive maintenance and repairs performed on any equipment or system as directed.
• Keep work areas clean and keep tools and equipment properly stored.
