Requirements

• Must pass a criminal background check & motor vehicle record check
• Willing to work nights and weekends, as needed for emergencies
• Must be able to follow safety and OSHA regulations
• Must have a working knowledge of building maintenance and upkeep
• Must have excellent communication skills
• Must have a strong commitment to customer service
• Must have computer skills
• Able to lift, push, and pull 50 pounds routinely
• Able to bend, stoop, twist, kneel, reach and climb ladders.

Responsibilities

• Support safe practices, infection control, and respect for residents’ rights
• Coordinate projects maintenance and upkeep with Administrator/Office Manager and home office
• Ensure compliance with AHJ.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on, including but not limited to mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Respond promptly to requests for assistance relating to maintenance
• Provide or coordinate routine grounds maintenance
• Assure that all safety equipment is in proper working order
• Provide finish work, surface repair, painting
• Assist in planning and implementing large projects.
• Document work in the manner required by home office
• Be willing and able to assist in other departments of the community
