The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for ensuring equipment reliability through sound maintenance practices, including cost-effective preventative and predictive maintenance and lubrication programs. This role ensures that programs and repairs are prioritized and completed on a timely basis to meet production objectives. The supervisor will implement quality improvement and cost reduction ideas, plan, schedule, and monitor the timely completion of Maintenance work orders, and review job orders to determine work priorities. They will ensure efficient work execution on daily assignments, area shutdowns, and all maintenance projects, setting priorities and coordinating Maintenance department activities and assignments. The role involves daily maintenance, repairs, and upgrades to converting and corrugated equipment, as well as overseeing and performing general facility maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and building repairs. The supervisor will replace worn or damaged machine parts and components, adhere to all safety protocols, maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, and monitor and manage spare parts inventory. Additionally, this position involves providing coaching, training, development, and leadership to hourly Maintenance employees in a high-performance work team environment, ensuring they understand and can troubleshoot jobs and are fully trained on mechanical repairs and equipment use. Collaboration with the production team to address machine-related issues and reporting to the Maintenance Manager and Plant Manager are also key aspects of this role.
