About The Position

Aluminum Precision Products (APP) is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for their 2nd shift. This role is responsible for all personnel at the respective site and requires daily communication with Press, Production, Inspection, Shipping, and Quality Control departments. Requirements

In compliance with ITAR regulations, must be a US Citizen or US Person.
Minimum of 5 years working as a maintenance mechanic.
Hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical knowledge required.
Able to work in a demanding fast-paced environment.
English (reading, writing, verbal and comprehension).
Knowledge of production equipment and work flow process.
Demonstrated leadership experience.

Responsibilities

Instructs and directs work activities of all maintenance personnel.
Plans and implements technical meetings to drive improvement initiatives.
Conducts and administers employee training programs.
Leads/Facilitates corrective action activities.
Assists in Customer, Internal, NADCAP, and AS 9100 audits as required.
Reviews and approves vacation request forms.
Manages attendance and job costing entry information.
Utilizes IFS reports to check job card information accuracy.
Responsible for the procurement of working materials and tools.
Ensures any accident or injury is promptly reported per APP’s safety policy.
Communicates effectively and professionally with employees across all levels and departments at APP.
Works safely and maintains an organized, lean work environment.
Maintains a working knowledge of APP policies and procedures.
Instructs, trains, and motivates employees on all work to be performed in accordance with APP standards.
Organizes and assigns tasks to workers throughout the day ensuring production schedule is followed and operating efficiencies are met.
Writes performance evaluations.
Ensures adherence to all process specifications.
Maintains a strong commitment to good attendance and being on time as it is critical to meet production needs.
Performs any other duties not mentioned above when instructed to do so by the department manager.
