About The Position

The Maintenance Supervisor is an on-site representative of Sandhurst Apartment Management who interacts directly with residents and vendors. The role provides specialized HVAC work and organizes, coordinates, and manages the community’s overall maintenance program, including cost-effective property inventory control. The supervisor oversees and performs on-site maintenance, manages the team’s work and resources, maintains the community’s physical condition, and supports quality service and move-in readiness.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
HVAC certification.
CPO certification.
Effective verbal communication skills.
Extensive knowledge of maintenance repair and service, including plumbing, carpentry, appliance repair, and electrical work.
One year of maintenance experience; apartment maintenance experience preferred.
Ability to work weekends, after hours, and/or holidays.

Promote and teach safe work practices among employees and ensure they are implemented.

Manage time and resources to complete the team’s work promptly.
Oversee and perform on-site maintenance functions.
Implement a quality make-ready program so apartments are ready for move-in.
Help achieve the community’s annual budget plan by controlling expenses.
Maintain the physical condition and appearance of the community’s interiors and exteriors.
Keep workspaces clean and ensure company equipment is properly protected.
Communicate and plan with management about issues outside the normal scope of work.
Participate in an ongoing community maintenance and improvement plan.
Follow up on service requests to ensure quality and completion.
Perform other maintenance supervisor responsibilities as directed.
