About The Position

Oversee and direct the installation, maintenance, and repair of production equipment and other mechanical equipment supporting production operations. This role involves managing a team of maintenance personnel and ensuring the smooth functioning of all equipment critical to production.

Requirements

College or technical school and/or (5) years of relevant work experience including experience in a leadership role.
Regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and talk or hear.
Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Occasionally required to sit.
Must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.

Responsibilities

Review and direct equipment preventive/predictive maintenance program.
Assist staff with complex equipment problems or with major equipment failures, repairs or overhauls.
Establish means of responding to maintenance calls and set call/project priorities.
Supervise equipment mechanics, shop personnel, electricians, electronic technicians, maintenance welders, carpenters, plant janitor service, and other production-support maintenance personnel.
