About The Position
Grinstead + Woods is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance operations with excellence, professionalism, and pride. This is a rewarding role with stability, strong benefits, and real advancement potential.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years of hands-on multifamily maintenance experience
- Strong HVAC skills with EPA Certification (Type II or Universal)
- Solid knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and building systems
- Availability for after-hours emergency calls
- Must own basic tools and have reliable transportation
- Great communication and leadership skills
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily maintenance for the entire property: buildings, grounds, and amenities
- Ensure a safe, clean, and organized environment aligned with company and OSHA standards
- Complete service requests and prepare units for move-in
- Respond quickly to resident repair needs and emergency calls
- Support hiring, training, and managing maintenance and custodial staff
- Provide top-notch customer service to residents and guests
- Monitor and manage inventory, supplies, and the maintenance budget
- Coordinate and supervise contractor and vendor work
- Ensure all work complies with EPA, OSHA, and Fair Housing regulations
