We are hiring a 3rd shift Maintenance Supervisor in our Florence, KY-based Freschetta pizza plant. Typical hours are between 10:30 p.m. and 7:30 a.m. on either a Sunday-Thursday night or Tuesday-Saturday night schedule. In this role, you will provide technical, process and people leadership for the assigned shift or platform and direct reactive, corrective, and planned maintenance activities in coordination with the site strategy. You are a key leader in the utilization of the Asset Optimization elements, specifically Planning and Scheduling, Defect Elimination, and Breakdown Elimination. You assist the Maintenance Leadership team to identify and eliminate top losses across the site, and have accountability for production throughput, downtime, OEE, and cost attainment on their assigned shift in partnership with Production Supervision.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of maintenance experience, including 2+ years of maintenance leadership.
  • Must have knowledge and skills in the technologies of general construction, electrical systems, electronic systems, microprocessors, mechanical systems (e.g., production/process, refrigeration, boilers, HVAC, hydraulics, and pneumatics), and computerized maintenance management systems.
  • Must have previous supervisor experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Working knowledge of food plant production and processing equipment preferred.
  • Knowledge of SAP, occupational hazards, safety, EPA regulations, USDA and sanitation standards preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Improve organization and effectiveness of physical workspaces through Shop Tools and Facilities system (Shop safety, 5S, precision tools, etc.)
  • Supervise daily work assignments including reactive, corrective, planned and condition-based maintenance in coordination with Maintenance Planner/Scheduler. Prioritize and assign resources based on shifting production and schedule demands.
  • Actively participate in the site DMS meetings with reporting ownership for maintenance metrics.
  • Manage weekly tracking and reporting of maintenance KPI’s for team: PM and Corrective Completion, Backlog, WO aging, Mean Time to Complete, Breakdowns, Defects, etc.
  • Provides leadership in troubleshooting and problem-solving breakdowns and reliability losses with cross-functional team. Drives failures to root cause using Breakdown Elimination processes.
  • Participates in equipment maintenance strategy improvement using inputs from maintenance team, breakdown elimination findings, defect trends, and equipment condition monitoring.
