About The Position

As a Maintenance Supervisor, you’ll lead a team dedicated to keeping our communities safe, beautiful, and fully operational. This role combines hands-on maintenance expertise with leadership responsibilities to ensure resident satisfaction and property preservation. The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee and perform maintenance repairs across the property, schedule and monitor preventative maintenance programs, and respond to after-hours emergencies as needed. This role also involves managing service requests using Yardi or similar software, maintaining budgets and inventory for maintenance supplies, and ensuring compliance with safety and company policies. Additionally, the supervisor will lead and develop a diverse maintenance team, provide feedback and coaching for performance improvement, and deliver exceptional customer service to residents.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • HVAC-EPA (Type II) or EPA Universal certification is required.
  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification is required.
  • Three or more years’ hands-on apartment or building maintenance experience required.
  • Supervisory experience required.
  • Experience with Yardi or other property management accounting software.
  • Strong knowledge of residential plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repair work.
  • Ability to read, write, understand and communicate in English.
  • A valid driver's license may be required.
