About The Position
The Maintenance Supervisor oversees the Maintenance department, the Boiler Room and HVAC areas of the Hospital and its buildings. The Maintenance Supervisor has responsibility for oversight of the Maintenance staff. This is a working supervisor position that is responsible for hands on training of employees. Monday - Friday with occasional evening and/or weekend responsibilities. Pay based on experience starting at $29.08
Responsibilities
- Is a resource for all employees.
- Maintains inventory of commonly used parts and equipment.
- Maintains regulatory compliance with regards to HVAC considerations as well as boiler room equipment and underground fuel oil tanks.
- Maintains the proper Medical Gas System Maintenance ASSE6040 certification.
- Makes recommendations with regards to equipment replacement and budgeting.
- Oversees preventive maintenance procedures and timely completion.
- Oversees scheduling of staff and being a resource for staff when needed.
- Tracks energy consumption for all buildings, makes recommendations regarding energy efficiency.
- Trains employees in proper operation of all Energy Center equipment, including boiler controls, chiller controls, HVAC equipment and Building Automation Systems.
