About The Position

Primary functions are to maintain the physical needs of Northwood's total properties and to establish a safe and healthy learning and living environment to meet agency treatment objectives. Provide leadership and direction for the maintenance department to include supervising, coordinating, planning, purchasing of supplies and equipment and communicating effectively with the CEO, Chief Financial Officer, other department heads, department staff, other agency staff and treatment center students.

Requirements

  • Two (2) years of vocational training or equivalent plus four (4) years of work experience in the general trades field.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the physical needs of Northwood's total properties.
  • Establish a safe and healthy learning and living environment to meet agency treatment objectives.
  • Provide leadership and direction for the maintenance department.
  • Supervise, coordinate, and plan maintenance activities.
  • Purchase supplies and equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with the CEO, Chief Financial Officer, other department heads, department staff, other agency staff and treatment center students.
