About The Position

USA MULTIFAMILY MANAGEMENT, INC. manages residential multifamily communities, developing, building, owning, and managing properties across California and Nevada, specializing in Tax Credit; Section 42 properties (LIHTC). The company offers a collaborative work environment and opportunities for talent development. They are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for their 190-unit Senior Community, Vintage Crest, in Moorpark, CA. This non-exempt position operates on a Monday through Friday schedule, with some flexibility required for occasional overtime, weekends, and on-call emergencies. The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for maintaining the physical integrity of the community, ensuring a safe and secure living environment for residents, visitors, and co-workers. This includes anticipating, identifying, and correcting property problems and implementing preventative procedures to maintain the property, cultivate resident satisfaction, and protect the owner's investment.

Requirements

  • At least two (2) years of experience in maintenance, preferably with apartment maintenance
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
  • Valid Driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Supervisory experience in maintenance (preferably in an apartment community setting)
  • Plumbing and electrical repairs
  • Light carpentry
  • Glass and screen replacements
  • Unit turns
  • Painting
  • Cleaning

  • Maintaining the physical integrity of the community at all times
  • Insuring a safe and secure living environment for residents, visitors, and co-workers
  • Anticipate, identify, and correct any and all problems involving the property
  • Implement procedures preventing such problems
