Primary Responsibilities: Insure compliance with government and safety regulations and company safe working practices Effectively lead and direct 10+ Maintenance Technicians Monitor, measure and improve predictive and preventative maintenance to reduce unplanned downtime Evaluate and develop core competencies of Maintenance staff Monitor, analyze and report on key performance metrics for department Manage projects utilizing internal and third party resources and reports on status to milestones Plans and directs activities related to design, modification and maintenance of equipment Qualifications/Requirements: Senior Maintenance Tech knowledge and experience in a manufacturing environment Demonstrated understanding of maintenance productivity and budget metrics Strong troubleshooting ability Proven project management skills and experience Good organizational skills, analytical ability, written and verbal communication skills Ability to relate to all levels of the organization Ability to balance use of internal and 3rd party resources to accomplish objectives Computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office and other enterprise software for purchasing and Computerized Maintenance Management System Previous experience with heavy industrial plant maintenance including hydraulics, pumps, electrical and PLC’s strongly preferred Educational/Training/ Experience: High School diploma or GED required Maintenance knowledge and related experience Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds on a repetitive basis Ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials. Ability to participate in respiratory management program
