About The Position

Burlington Capital Properties is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for the Abbington at Stones River Apartment Community in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. This role is crucial for maintaining the quality living experience provided to residents, focusing on leadership, maintenance, repairs, and customer service. The Maintenance Supervisor plays a key role in protecting and improving the property's appearance and overall maintenance, understanding the impact of their work and their team's on property success and resident retention. The position requires adherence to safety and liability guidelines, expense control, and excellent customer service.

Requirements

Minimum two years of multifamily housing or equivalent field experience required
HVAC and CPO Certification required
Valid Driver's License and good driving record required
Adequate working knowledge of a property’s significant maintenance needs such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry etc.
Ability to follow directives and work with minimum supervision
Ability to communicate effectively
Ability to interact positively with residents, employees, vendors and the general public

Responsibilities

Perform standard apartment maintenance repair which could include painting and appliance repair
Troubleshoot and perform maintenance and repairs related to plumbing, heating, air conditioning, electrical, and carpentry
Oversee contractors and vendors who may perform work at the property
Be "on call" for emergency maintenance on weekends/evenings
Control expenses to meet budgeted guidelines
Provide excellent customer service at all times
Participate in all resident promotions and/or functions as required by the property manager
Follow all safety and liability guidelines as outlined
