About The Position

JVM Realty is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead their property’s maintenance team and ensure the community is running at its best. The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee all aspects of property maintenance, while leading a team to deliver excellent service to residents. This role involves supervising and training maintenance staff, performing and overseeing apartment turns, preventative maintenance, and emergency repairs, troubleshooting and repairing various systems, managing inventory and vendor relationships, ensuring safety compliance, and participating in on-call rotations. The position also partners with the Property Manager on budgets, capital projects, and long-term planning.

Requirements

3–5+ years of Residential/Multifamily maintenance experience
At least 1–2 years in a supervisory role
Strong technical skills in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repair.
Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.
Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and safety regulations.

Nice To Haves

Luxury/Class A experience preferred
HVAC/EPA certification strongly preferred

Responsibilities

Supervising and training maintenance staff, delegating work orders, and ensuring quality standards.
Performing and overseeing apartment turns, preventative maintenance, and emergency repairs.
Troubleshooting and repairing HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance issues.
Monitoring inventory, ordering supplies, and managing vendor relationships.
Ensuring safety compliance, OSHA standards, and adherence to Fair Housing guidelines.
Participating in on-call rotation and responding to after-hours emergencies.
Partnering with the Property Manager to manage budgets, capital projects, and long-term planning.
