As a Maintenance Supervisor, also known as a Facilities Manager, the role requires strong skills in various trades such as carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, painting, drywall, masonry, and appliance repair and installation. The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on work, mentoring a team, developing new maintenance techniques, innovating, and collaborating with outside vendors. Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to correct mistakes are valued. The position involves maintaining and preserving multimillion-dollar community assets, ensuring an environment that exemplifies California living for residents. Responsibilities include daily apartment maintenance, emergency repairs, unit turnovers, and executing asset preservation objectives.

  • Current or previous supervisory experience in property management
  • Minimum of two+ years in the multifamily industry
  • At least one+ year of supervisory background leading a commercial or residential Maintenance and Grounds team
  • Deep commitment to apply your very best in both high-energy and emergency environments
  • Remain calm in the face of disaster
  • Knowledge of computers, namely Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
