Maintenance Supervisor
About The Position
The Maintenance Supervisor leads maintenance operations for two neighboring residential communities. This hands-on role includes performing plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repairs; carrying out preventive maintenance; supporting and scheduling the maintenance team; and maintaining apartments, building systems, and common areas in safe, good working order. The supervisor also prepares vacant apartments for move-in, coordinates vendors and contractors, and communicates with residents, the maintenance team, and the property office. The role is based in Atlanta, Georgia, pays $33 per hour, and is scheduled full-time, Monday through Friday.
Requirements
- HVAC certification.
- Apartment maintenance experience.
- Hands-on plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repair skills.
- Experience with preventive maintenance.
- Good communication and organization skills.
Responsibilities
- Complete service requests involving plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance systems.
- Plan and carry out preventive maintenance for both communities.
- Lead, schedule, and support the maintenance team, ensuring work orders are completed on time.
- Prepare vacant apartments for move-in.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed.
- Keep building systems, units, and common areas safe and in good working order.
- Communicate clearly with residents, the maintenance team, and the property office.
- Treat residents consistently and professionally in line with Fair Housing requirements.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and safety practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
