About The Position

Overview We are seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead and coordinate all maintenance activities across our facility. This role is critical in ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operations while minimizing downtime and extending the life of our equipment and assets. You'll serve as both a working leader and a strategic partner to operations-driving preventative maintenance programs, managing repairs, and leading a high-performing maintenance team. What You'll Do Supervise and support maintenance personnel, assigning work and ensuring accountability Plan, schedule, and oversee maintenance and repair activities across facilities, equipment, and yard operations Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and structural issues to minimize downtime Develop and manage a preventative maintenance program Maintain accurate records, work orders, and documentation Coordinate with vendors and contractors for repairs and inspections Manage maintenance supplies, parts inventory, and budget expectations Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and OSHA regulations Partner with operations leadership to align maintenance priorities with business needs Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements or capital upgrades What We're Looking For Education: High school diploma or GED required Technical or trade certification preferred (industrial maintenance, electrical, mechanical, etc.) Experience: 3–5 years of maintenance experience (industrial, manufacturing, construction, or similar) Leadership or supervisory experience preferred Experience in building materials, yard operations, or manufacturing environments is a strong plus Skills & Abilities: Strong mechanical, electrical, and facility systems knowledge Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to plan, prioritize, and coordinate maintenance activities Strong leadership and team development capabilities Effective communication and organizational skills Ability to collaborate across departments and manage vendor relationships Additional: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required. Work Environment This role involves a mix of indoor and outdoor work in a fast-paced operational setting. The position requires standing, walking, and use of tools and equipment, with occasional lifting (up to 75 lbs) and exposure to varying weather conditions, noise, and dust. PPE is required. Requirements
