About The Position

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of maintenance workers. This role involves interpreting company policies and collective bargaining agreements, enforcing safe work practices, and maintaining time and production reports. The supervisor will coordinate with production and other departments to schedule repairs, maintenance, and installations of machinery, tools, and equipment to ensure continuous production operations. Additionally, the role involves recommending measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and product quality, as well as suggesting changes to work conditions and equipment use to increase efficiency.

Requirements

• Metal forming, manufacturing, and maintenance background
• Strong leadership skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Deals effectively with multiple internal/external customers of varying levels
• Demonstrated ability to effectively motivate, foster teamwork, and supervise direct reports
• Knowledge and ability concerning specific machine capacity and capability issues
• Capable to increase manufacturing efficiencies through effective scheduling
• Demonstrated proficiency in communication, self-presentation and interpersonal skills
• Tool Room and Plant Facilities experience
